Please read the following terms and conditions. By signing this form, you agree to abide by them in full:​

1. General Agreement
These terms and conditions apply between you (the “User”) and Stay Zen Yoga regarding the use of our Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) services. Your agreement to these terms is deemed to occur upon your first use of our services. Please read them carefully, as they affect your legal rights.
A "User" refers to anyone using our services who is not an employee, contractor, or affiliate of Stay Zen Yoga acting in the course of their engagement.
You must be at least 18 years old to book. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Health, Safety & Risk Acknowledgement
By participating, you confirm:

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that SUP involves inherent risks such as falling, injury, and drowning, and you voluntarily accept full responsibility for these risks.

Health & Fitness: You declare that you are physically fit for paddleboarding and have disclosed any medical conditions or limitations.

Safety Rules: You agree to follow all instructions provided by your instructor and understand that failure to comply may result in exclusion without refund.

Pregnancy/Intoxication: Participation is not permitted if pregnant or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Swimming Ability: All participants must be confident swimmers.

3. Release of Liability & Indemnity

You release Corine Ashton, Stay Zen Yoga, their instructors, agents, and affiliates from any liability for injury, property damage, or death arising from participation.

You agree to indemnify the above from any claims or damages resulting from your actions during participation.

In an emergency, you authorise the instructor to secure medical treatment on your behalf.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

All bookings are made online
-
Cancellations made more than 5 working days in advance may not be eligible for a refund.

We may cancel due to unsafe weather (e.g., wind gusts over 20 mph, winds speeds exceeding 10 mph, thunderstorms, heavy rain). In these cases, you'll be notified and offered an alternative date.

5. Safety Briefing & Equipment Use

Attendance at the mandatory safety briefing is required before entering the water.

Equipment must be used responsibly. Misuse or neglect may result in charges:

£100 for punctured paddleboard

£500 for paddleboard damaged beyond repair

If you notice equipment is faulty before use, notify staff immediately. Failure to do so may make you liable for damage.

You are responsible for reporting any damage caused during your session.

6. Liability & Insurance

Stay Zen Yoga is covered by public and employee liability insurance.

You are strongly advised to hold personal insurance covering activity-related injuries and cancellations.

Stay Zen Yoga is not liable for loss or damage of personal property.

7. What to Bring
We recommend bringing the following:

Suitable clothing that can get wet (wetsuit, swimsuit, lightweight top, leggings, etc.)

Towel, change of warm clothes, blanket

Water, sun protection (suncream, sunglasses, cap)

Waterproof bag for personal belongings
Please note: Stay Zen Yoga accepts no liability for lost or damaged personal belongings taken on the water.

I give consent to be photographed or filmed during my lesson and for the photos and videos to be used by Corine Ashton and Stay Zen Yoga for promotional purposes. I understand that I will not be identified by name, nor will any compensation be extended for such use.
